Meeting at LAX

Who are all these goofy looking people? Is it a band of strange chauffeurs? No, it's the Renda clan (and hangers-on) assembled in the baggage claim area of LAX, waiting for Gene and Chuck. All stylishly attired in our fine Renda Resort shirts, provided by Jeff and Julia.

Nick and Jeff provide the artistry for the sign, so that they'll know who we are waiting for.

Here is Gene and Chuck, as they first catch sight of the strange crowd of people holding up a sign with their name.

Oh, good, they are going to acknowledge that they know us... and by the way, notice what Tom is doing :-)

On Our Way - San Jose Airport

Greg and his family, and Tom and Tristan, all departed from San Jose airport on a fine Wednesday morning, the 4th of July. There was no line to speak of getting through security ... so what could this line be?

Something much more important that that ....

It's the line for Starbucks ! (and please note... this is the first of the Tom Colson commemorative BlackBerry bonding pictures :-)

Big surprise ... Greg has his little geek toy out too. Katherine and Alex are mesmerized... and what is that pink thing that Nick is drinking ?!

Waiting for our flight at the gate ... the second of an ongoing series of TCCBBP (Tom Colson Commemorative BlackBerry Bonding Pictures, in case you had forgotten). After he realized he had forgotten to bring a book, we went all over Terminal C, inspecting all the book selections; he bought a book, and then does he read it ?

The Cast of Characters

Celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary of Gene and Chuck Renda, proprietors of the 5-star Renda Resort located in scenic Sacramento, California .... they and their family (and a couple of hangers-on) spent a few days on Catalina Island.
